Lenovo launches a compact 7" Smart Display with Google Assistant

Lenovo was one of the main organizations to coordinate with Google on an Assistant Smart Display. It propelled the unimaginatively named yet much-cherished Lenovo Smart Display in both 8" and 10" variations a year ago and basically prevailed upon the item classification its rivals. Both the JBL Link View and LG ThinQ View neglected to intrigue us as much as it did, and even Google's Home Nest Hub was anything but an appropriate substitution because of its absence of a camera for video calls.

Presently Lenovo is expanding on that accomplishment with a littler 7" Smart Display, which appears to be an ideal contender to the Nest Hub since truly, it has a camera.

The Lenovo Smart Display 7 is minimized. The speaker is set beneath the showcase for a negligible impression. That makes it ideal for restricted surface territories, similar to bedside tables, work areas, occupied kitchen counters, or passage racks. Its precise measurements are 155mm in width, 176mm in stature, and 83mm inside and out. Nearly, the more established 8" Smart Display estimated 263 x 142 x 12-111 mm and Google's Nest Hub was 178 x 118 x 67 mm.

As a reaction of this structure change, it appears you can't flip the unit to representation mode like you could with a year ago's models. That is one of my preferred highlights when making video approaches the 8", since I can get see my folks and in-laws on the whole show rather than them being squashed to fit the scene direction with dark bars on either side.

Different specs incorporate a 7" IPS contact show with 1024 x 600 goals, two 1.5" 5W stereo speakers with a latent radiator, and a double receiver cluster.

Eminently, contrasted with the 8" model from a year ago, the processor has transformed from the 1.8GHz Qualcomm Home Hub Platform to the 1.5GHz MediaTek 8167S, Bluetooth has been moved up to 5.0 rather than 4.2, however the camera goals has been brought from 5MP down to 2MP.

Lenovo likewise says the Smart Display 7 has a RGB sensor, however it's not clear what that is for. It could mean a closeness finder or it could be an encompassing light sensor like the Nest Hub, utilized for modifying the presentation's shading and splendor to fit with its environment.

Like every Smart Displays, this one has the Google Assistant and can be utilized to pose inquiries, play music and recordings, check your Google Photos and set them as an encompassing photograph collection, control your brilliant home, and video call individuals on Duo.

The Lenovo Smart Display 7 will just come in white and will be accessible in October of 2019 for $130.
