Razer Phone will get Android 9 Pie in the coming weeks

The first Razer Phone got boundless acclaim when it was discharged in late 2017, generally because of its then-exceptional 120Hz screen. Be that as it may, Razer hasn't worked superbly with long haul support, as the device is as yet running Android Oreo with a year-old security fix. Fortunately for those of you who purchased the device, Razer has at long last affirmed that a Pie update for the OG Razer Phone will arrive soon.

Owners of the Razer Phone have moved toward becoming (legitimately) baffled in the course of recent months as the company slipped behind in programming support. Not exclusively is the telephone still on Android 8.1 Oreo while Android 10 is not too far off, however the present security fix level is from July... of a year ago. For reference, the Razer Phone 2 was discharged a year later in October 2018, and got Android 9 Pie in February of this current year.

Maybe because of public pressure, a Razer representative affirmed on Reddit that a Pie update with the most recent security patches is coming "in the coming weeks." Still, that is the least the company could accomplish for deserting a $700 telephone not exactly a year after it was discharged.
