Google Home Hub supports Duo calls, but the recipient will only see your profile pic

When the Google Home Hub leaks first started, everyone was miffed by the absence of a front-facing camera for Duo calls. Later, with the device's official announcement, those breaks were turned out to be valid, and Google disclosed that it skirted the cam for security reasons (however we as a whole know the choice was more probable a matter of aggressive valuing.) However, what we didn't know was that the Home Hub would in reality bolster Duo calls, even without the camera.

Google really affirmed that in a tweet half a month prior, but on the other hand there's another help page today that discloses how to set up Duo approaches your Home Hub and what you can do with it.

The page isn't clear. It appears as though it's been duplicated from the Smart Display bolster reports with one minor expansion. There's a note at the best that says, "The gadget being utilized to contact your Google Home Hub must have a camera all together for the video calling highlight to work."

In view of this and the tweet above, it appears the other individual needs a camera and the call must be a video one, not a sound just call. (Why Google limits Duo calls to video on Smart Displays is past me.) You should see them live on your showcase, yet they will just hear you and see your profile photograph.

You can likewise video call your Home Hub from your telephone, and a similar will be valid there, actually. Whoever is at home and grabs will see you, while you'll simply hear them and see your very own photograph (since it's connected to your Google account).
